Thanks to everyone who came out to Chow Down SE last night. Had a great time and enjoy a few of the pictures from the evening. Until next time…
Holiday Chow Down in South End this Wednesday, December 14 from 5-9pm at Atherton Mill, 2000 South Blvd. That’s right…just two days away so help spread the word and come join us for another great time!
The trucks will be set up in the parking lot near the Atherton Market, which is located in the historic Trolley Barn towards the back of Atherton Mill. Great weather forecast but may be a little chilly so we will have seating inside the market to keep you warm.
Plenty of free parking and just a block from the East/West Light Rail Station.
9 trucks have committed for Wednesday: Napolitano’s, Maki Taco, Roaming Fork, Herband Legend, Outdoor Feasts, Goody Woodys (Charlotte’s newest food truck), Cupcake Delirium , Tasty Yo and Southern Cake Queen.
The Atherton Market will be open with lots of great local vendors so you can add to your food truck options or find a present or two to check off your shopping list.
We’ll have beer and wine tastings and South End Santa just might show up on his bicycle!
Please post it, like it, blog it, tweet it to help us get the word out!
For questions contact, Ted Boyd at tboyd@charlottecentercity.org.
Also happening Wednesday night is Yelp’s Big Fat Wrapping Party at Boulevard at South End just about three blocks north from Chow Down. Stop in and get your presents gift wrapped for a good cause!

Some of the tweets circulating yesterday said it was on Wednesday, 12/13 – I tried showing up last night (12/13) and figured out the mistake then
I wish I could go tonight but I’ve got a work holiday party. Have fun!
