UPDATE : THURSDAY MEETING AGENDA HSE + DNC meeting 8_16_2012 final
DNC 2012 is a few weeks away and details have been released regarding vehicle and pedestrian restrictions as well as Light Rail and CTC schedules. Given South End’s proximity to Uptown and the fact that some of these restrictions will have impact to some South End businesses we invite you to attend a meeting this Thursday, Aug 16th from 5:30-7pm at All American Pub (old Jillian’s). Light refreshments served from 5:30-6pm with meeting starting promptly at 6pm. This meeting is specifically for South End businesses; however, residents are invited to attend as well, if they are not able to attend the Aug 14th meeting in Uptown for Center City residents.
The focus of this meeting will be to discuss logistics, security questions and help answer specific questions that might impact your business, getting to work, etc.
It is important to note that impact to South End is minimal and focused primarily in the Mint/Carson areas as well as the Carson St Station and most of this is limited to Thursday. If you are a business in this area then I highly encourage you to attend.
