Last week I shared about the large “Thank You” card that was started by some local South End business owners and Jon Wilson of “Wilson’s World” for the police, fire and EMT who came from all across the United States for the Democratic National Convention. Since the “Wilson’s World” and subsequent blog, Twitter and Facebook posts, along with other news media coverage, the “Thank You” card is making its way across the United States in terms of media coverage. The card is running out of space for signatures but will still be available for signatures until Wednesday of this week before it is framed and prepared to present to CMPD and other officials.
