Battle of the Brews Event Details:
1. Come drink craft brews from Charlotte’s local breweries. You vote on your favorite Brew and the winning
Brewery will take home a $1,000 cash prize and Battle of the Brews 2012 Trophy.
2. All 12 ounce beers are only $2 and all tastings are Free! Pre-register for $10 per ticket!
3. All proceeds benefit the 704 Project and Charlotte Public Tree Fund.
4. All American Pub has donated their event space for the night and we will have our own DJ and drink Specials!
The 704 Project The 704 Project is a non profit giving circle where all of our members pool our money together, define an area of need in our city and then select one philanthropic organization that is making a difference in that area of need.
This year’s area of need is Charlotte’s environment. Our grant making committee has selected the Charlotte Public Tree Fund (a fantastic organization) to receive this year’s grant (over $10,000!).
704 Project Awards Party – “The Inaugural Battle of the Brews”
Our awards party will be a themed party around Charlotte’s local Breweries – called “Battle of the Brews”.
We will be inviting 6-8 local Breweries and asking each to bring One Brew of their choice to compete in this year’s Inaugural event.
The winning Brewery will be given $1,000 cash, a “2012 Battle of the Brews Champ” trophy belt and plenty of social media exposure.
We will be mass marketing the event with flyers and posters in local bars, apartment buildings, etc. We will also add our event to all of the weekly mass mailers sent out by our bars, restaurants and promotional organizations like Sports Link.
