April 21. Walk A Thon in Freedom Park
Lois’ Lodge is a residential program located in the Dilworth area that equips and empowers women to make life affirming decisions for themselves and their unborn children. We provide shelter, education and life-planning services as well as spiritual guidance and counseling to the women we serve. We also offer an after-care program which helps clients build further skills toward independence and a successful future for themselves and their children.
The clients in our care participate in our program at no cost to them, which is made possible through the generosity of individuals, local businesses and churches.
On April 21st we are planning our Ninth Annual Walk-A-Thon which will take place in Charlotte as well as high-school and college campuses throughout our region. This important event will raise awareness within the community about our mission and work.
This event will also provide needed funding through walkers who will raise funds by way of sponsorships.
We would like to invite you to partner with us by underwriting this fun event. As an underwriter you will receive recognition on all event collateral. Additionally you will be recognized on our website and in our newsletter, which reaches over 1,000 people in our region.
We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, so your donations are completely tax deductible.
To gain more information about our mission, please visit our website at http://www.loislodge.org.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Ronna Wilson
