$500 Reward to Stop Graffiti in South End
CMPD, Crime Stoppers and South End have teamed up to help address the graffiti problems in South End. Effective immediately, we are offering a reward that will pay up to $500 for information that leads to the arrest of any person or persons responsible for graffiti in South End. This reward is unique to South End and we are purposefully taking a more grass roots and word of mouth approach rather than broadcast from a media platform.
Offering a reward is not the only solution for addressing graffiti. It is crucial that once a building has been tagged, that the owner remove the graffiti as quickly as possible. Graffiti artists live to see and for others to see their “handiwork” so its important to have it removed as quickly as possible. Your efforts, combined with a reward structure to arrest these folks is key to addressing this problem.
Below is the flier from Crime Stoppers which provides a number of ways for you to report the crime. Additionally, the pdf for this flier is attached Crime Stoppers Flyer so you can down load and make copies to pass out or put in your place of business. If you have any questions please let me know and please spread the word!
