Speaker Bio: Joey Wilson, a pioneer in the digital marketing space, is Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Analysis at Sapient where he is responsible for helping Sapient’s largest clients drive value with their advertising.  In his current role he leads Digital and Direct Marketing in North America.

Wilson joined PGI, the largest independent interactive advertising agency in the country in 2002, where he built out their direct marketing, media optimization, consumer communications, CRM, data warehousing and analytics capabilities, and played a key role in developing the BridgeTrack marketing services platform.

Wilson has been engaged with clients such as Hershey’s, Citibank, Travelers, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Network Solutions, Regions Bank, and Royal Bank of Canada to develop their marketing strategies.

Wilson holds an MBA from Clemson University and graduated from Wofford College with a BS in Economics. A South Carolina native, Wilson resides in Miami, Florida.

National History: The Social Media Breakfast was founded by Bryan Person in August 2007 as an event where social media experts and newbies alike come together to eat, meet, share, and learn. Marketers, PR pros, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, new-media fanatics, and online social networkers are all welcome to attend. The breakfast series began in Boston and has now spread to more than a dozen cities throughout the United States and around the world.
