Sauceman’s Grand Re-Opening, featuring NC Style BBQ

On the corner of Tryon St and West Blvd, you’ve probably noticed the new building for the restaurant Sauceman’s. They opened in December of 2010 and their building alone was a much appreciated improvement to that entrance into South End, let alone the addition of a new quick food restaurant.

Monday, June 6th Sauceman’s had a grand re-opening as they have made some new additions to both the restaurant team and menu. Zach Goodyear, Adam Rappaport, and Dave Pearson combine their love and passion for the best bbq to bring North Carolina style BBQ to Charlotte. Additionally, the menu will include thin crust pizzas and juicy burgers so there is something for everyone. Word will spread quickly just how incredible this BBQ tastes. Enjoy the pictures and short video of Zach in action.

  1. What’s a boy from SC know about NC BBQ? Which do you prefer?

    • Both are delicious to me. When in NC…eat NC BBQ. When in SC…eat SC BBQ! Sauceman’s has a BBQ sandwich called the Big Squeal which has a bun sized hushpuppy and the bbq inbetween.
