First Friday at the South End Fieldhouse

No shortage of creative ideas…that’s one thing I appreciate about South End. Case in point, this last Friday during the South End Gallery Crawl the South End Fieldhouse decided to get in on all the fun. For starters, the Fieldhouse in and of itself is an amazing idea and place but to turn it into a gallery/etsy inspired market was brilliant! You’ve heard me share of my love for the markets in New York City….Union Square Green Market, Brooklyn Flea….well one that I visited last fall was the Young Designers Market in SoHo. When I walked into the South End Fieldhouse last Friday, it was reminiscient of the Young Designers Market. Vendors set up around the room, free beer and wine in the middle, with a great DJ setting the mood. Vendors had art, scuplture, handmade clothes, bags, belts, etc. This gallery/market could really take off and become something like the Young Designers Market in SoHo!
