Business Spotlight – The UPS Store

When people talk about South End words like “design”, “creativity”, “art”, and “technology” often come to mind but one of the great qualities about South End is “convenience”. We have 4 light rail stops with a walking trail that runs through the heart of the neighborhood. You’re minutes from Uptown or 485. Have a wide offering of restaurants, bars and concert venues that you can walk, bike or drive to. But beyond entertainment and recreation, you have a multitude of small businesses to meet the many demands of the area. I stopped in the UPS Store on the corner of Camden and West Blvd yesterday to take some pictures and chat with owner Gary Barbeau. From shipping, to printing, to office supplies, to post office boxes, to greeting cards…this little store offers a lot and has a great storefront.

The UPS Store are the Local Premiere Sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and along with sponsorship, Gary and his South End staff are putting together a team for the race. If you’d like to join them please let him know cause they would love to have you. For details on the store you can visit their website  and also follow them on Twitter and Facebook. Gary also mentioned a new rewards program they have recently begun so check that out as well. Enjoy the photos and stop in some time to say hello!
