On Wednesday evening, March 28, Charlotte Center City Partners and the City of Charlotte Planning Department will lead a team of experts in presenting the results of months of community and experts workshops, research and planning and visioning in South End. The final recommendations have been organized around six (6) recommended priorities for the district. Four planning and design experts, along with the City Planning Department and Center City Partners, will present the results to the neighborhood and the public.
Wednesday’s presentation comes after a successful workshops involving more than 65 community stakeholders for the “Community Workshop” and more than 40 local, regional and national planning and design experts in the “Experts Workshop”. This is the third and final phase of the community process where the ideas and conclusions developed in the two previous workshops.
Networking and refreshments from 5:30-6:00pm with meeting starting promptly at 6pm. A video and printed materials will be presented. The public and media are welcome.
