The trail runs from the New Bern LYNX stop up past the 7th Street stop in Uptown, which makes up about 3.3 miles of pedestrian and bike friendly trail along the LYNX. South End recently identified 6 priorities for future development to help push South End from good to great and one area was to “plan and develop a public realm of parks, open space, and recreation facilities” of which focusing on the integration of and improvements to the Rail Trail is key. It is an honor to be included in this publication and with these other great cities. The following was taken from US Airways Magazine online edition.
