Blank Canvas, Charlotte’s newest fine clothing boutique

Special thanks to my friends at CLT Buzz for their post about South End’s newest business to open, Blank Canvas. Located at 1800 Camden Rd and steps from the East West Light Rail Station, this store is a breath of fresh air for South End and for Charlotte. A portion of my past work history was in the men’s clothing business working for Orvis, J.Crew and Polo Ralph Lauren and to walk into Blank Canvas was such a breath of fresh air to see their commitment to men’s clothing and their willingness to give the majority of the square footage of the store to men’s clothing.

Blank Canvas is a collaboration of an architectural designer and an interior designer. They’ve selected their clothing lines and made all the improvements to the space themselves. They have done a great job of making a small space look like a big space.

Check out the images to get a sense of their style and what you’ll find. It’s a little Billy Reid, meets Garden & Gun, meets J.Crew. They are open now with a Grand Opening scheduled for Saturday, Oct 20th. Great addition to South End and thank you from all the men who appreciate great style in Charlotte!
