My apologies for not getting this out earlier but please note there is a public meeting tonight from 6pm-7:30pm at the South Boulevard Light Rail Facility to provide information and receive feedback on the Blue Line Capacity Expansion Project . The project will lengthen a couple platforms to accommodate three-car trains as well as the addition of new power supply substations. If you are wondering what a power supply substation looks like, there is one in South End on E. Carson Boulevard between S Tryon St and South Boulevard. More specifically, it is before you get to the Light Rail Tracks on the S Tryon St side and has been screened by a large brick fenced structure.
For questions about the meeting please direct to CATS at 704-336-7433 or visit their website at www.ridetransit.org.
